Deck Services in Yorktown

I can’t say enough good things about this Darnley Decks and More company. From the first interaction to the completion of the project, everything went smoothly. The team was professional, friendly, punctual, and paid close attention to the details. They kept everything organized, communicated clearly, and made sure the work was completed properly. I really appreciated how respectful and easy to work with everyone was. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and I’m very happy with the final results. It’s refreshing to find a company that genuinely cares about doing a great job and keeping customers satisfied. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and professional service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We just had our deck fully demolished and rebuilt by Darnley Decks and More. We did quite a bit of company comparison around the Newport News and Yorktown Area and we found that Trey was the most transparent, reasonably priced, and communicative company we spoke with. He walked us through the whole process, dealt with all the permits, and we were never left wondering on any details with our new deck. Every time we walked out to see the progress, the deck just got better and better. Trey was able to take our vision and make it work with the layout of our home. We’ve had quite a few projects done to the house by different contractors and Trey has been the ABSOLUTE BEST! So much so that we look forward to booking with the company again with future home upgrades. My husband and I really can’t say anything but positive things about this company. We’re very thankful. Thank you for giving us such a great experience with rebuilding such a big part of our home!

I needed fencing and a deck repair done for my home and I called several companies, and Darnley decks answered right away and was so quick to give a quote which felt so honest and fair. The job was done quickly without any communication issues or pushbacks and he was so transparent and reliable the entire time. Hard to find that these days but couldn’t recommend enough! :)

I worked with Trey Darnley to have a beautiful 500 ft.² deck built. He demolished our old deck that was severely rotted and unsafe and built a gorgeous new space for us to enjoy! His craftsmanship was excellent, and I am so pleased with the new deck! Trey was wonderful to work with, kind and professional and always responsive if I had any questions. This was a large project and it was impressive to watch the transformation. I highly recommend Darnley Decks and more!!

I’ve been in the electrical trade for 50 years commercial and residential. Working beside Trey Darnley he takes great pride in his work, he’s professional and when he says he’ll be there you can count on him. No task is too large or too small for him to accomplish. So if you want a deck built right my recommendation is to go with Darnley decks.

We are beyond happy with the beautiful pool deck that Trey and Shorty built for us! It’s better than I could have ever imagined and turned our backyard into our own little oasis. Trey was fantastic to work with from the moment we met him. He is very personable, responds quickly, is honest, hardworking…the list goes on! He pays attention to the tiniest details and offers design suggestions that elevate the overall outcome. If you are in need of any of the services that Darnley Decks & More offer, I highly recommend giving Trey a call. We are so thankful we did!

Darnley Decks repaired a two story deck that was in need of serious restoration. They did a great job. They were very considerate of what I wanted and went beyond what I asked for. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Reasonably priced!!

We’re absolutely thrilled with the work Trey did on our home! He built a beautiful new deck, added a matching gate, and fixed our fence — everything looks seamless and professionally done.
